We've had a heavy, wet dump of snow here in and around our town. It's a result of the so-called Pineapple Express - a band of very moist air straight from Hawaii - that's hitting most of BC. Further south there were high winds and many inches of rain. Here we got the wind and snow, although when it snowed it was just barely below freezing. Now we're above freezing, and it's all turning into a slushy mess. Lots of trees are broken, and lots of folks (not us, thankfully) have been without power due to downed lines, etc.
