We've had a heavy, wet dump of snow here in and around our town. It's a result of the so-called Pineapple Express - a band of very moist air straight from Hawaii - that's hitting most of BC. Further south there were high winds and many inches of rain. Here we got the wind and snow, although when it snowed it was just barely below freezing. Now we're above freezing, and it's all turning into a slushy mess. Lots of trees are broken, and lots of folks (not us, thankfully) have been without power due to downed lines, etc.

There was some concern when it recently came to light that Eli's car collection contained no Toyotas. Chris filled that deficit with these two awesome Corolla rally cars. Eli loves them!

The front room sofa is Eli's favorite place to play with his cars. Today I found this lineup, which he described to me as his "driveway."

Quite a driveway, when you consider that the front row of cars alone includes a C6 Corvette, a Ferrari 250 GTO, and a Chevy Tahoe.

Tonight, we carved a pumpkin. There was much excitement. And squirming around. I used burst to take about 80 shots. About five of them were not just shots of blurred wiggle worms.
