These weird little fellas sprouted up overnight under our cedar hedge. They look vaguely like snowdrops, but of course they aren't. They seem to be some type of fungus that, for some odd reason, looks like a flower. Has anyone seen this type of thing before? Is it a fungus? Or what?

At the Nature House at the Shuswap campground we found a picture of what those might be but I can't remember the name. Monica took a picture of the picture so she'll let you know!

According to the Shuswap Nature House, your mystery plant is called Indian Pipe, don't know the "real" name!

That was me, Monica.

The interesting plant you mention is not supposed to be growing in Prince George ! Maybe you'll make the paper if you tell them about it. This would be an even bigger story than the 2 dogs, or the $6.00 lottery losings.
Check this site out.

Thanks, all, for your botanical sleuthing!!!
