We made some bread this afternoon. These are two of the loaves, just at the end of the second rise, ready for the heat of the oven. We grind our own flour from local, organic wheat.

I will continue the same running offer from here on out - make a donation, get a free print of your choice. I'll also periodically run an official auction in order to, if nothing else, keep the focus on that country. Now that George Clooney and his various friends have run their telethons, the story will probably fade out of the 24/7 news cycle fairly rapidly. But, the need for resources for rebuilding won't disappear anytime soon. So, occasional reminders of the situation can't hurt.
Thanks to so many of you for your donations to so many other organizations! Last night's Canadian telethon raised $18 million, and Canadians have donated about $67 million in total. The Canadian federal government will match all donations to Canadian charities working in Haiti. The US telethons are reported to have raised almost $60 million, and I'm sure that the total sum across the country since the tragedy is much, much higher. I am extremely impressed with how the world community has rallied around this cause. Every donation helps, and let's not forget Haiti.
