Apis mellifera, a.k.a. a honeybee, working hard to get the last grains of pollen and sips of nectar out of a spent raspberry blossom at the back of our vegetable garden. There seems to be many more bees around this year – honeybees, bumblebees, little solitary bees, etc. – than last year. So, we are hoping that our garden is proportionally more productive.
