Good grief. A record snowfall for a day in May... and for May itself. Here is a news article about the crazy weather (cute picture of some baffled local hummingbirds at the link).

While we didn't get nearly as much where we are as did other people (our outside thermometer was at 5 degrees C - that's 41 degrees F - so most of it melted as it hit the ground), this just is not the sort of thing that should be happening this late in May.
