Paul and Juliet's wedding was last Saturday, 11 August, 2007. All three of us were, of course, in attendance. Paul and Joyel's sister, Lori also came home from Africa, which was really fun as well. The relaxed rehearsal dinner was held at the posh Arbutus Club in Vancouver. The ceremony itself was at St. John's Shaughnessy. Joyel was a reader at the ceremony, and read Psalm 121. Little Eli was one of many cute little ring bearers and flower girls. The reception was hosted at the Bayshore in downtown Vancouver and featured, among other things, a chocolate fountain, a coffee barista who made-to-order, and fabulous wedding cake made and decorated by Paul's mom and her friend. The happy couple is now taking a bit of R&R in Costa Rica.
