Seven yards down, five to go

Yesterday we had 12 yards of loam and garden soil delivered to our yard. Lots and lots of shoveling later, we had seven of the yards moved into place. The pile that you see behind us in these pictures is about 1/2 of the total 12 yards. A bit more to go, and our garden areas will be ready for planting!

That is a lot of work. I had to move 5 yards for my lawn last year and I didn't like it very much.

Phew... it was a lot of work. It's now mainly moved into place, but we still have to flatten the mounds that we dumped, strategically, from the wheelbarrow.
