Last night, Joyel, Elijah, and I hosted a dinner party for most of the folks that work in my lab, along with their significant others. My parents are visiting us, and really helped with getting everything ready.
We had wassail, to chase away the cold; antipasto on baguettes; beef and wine over pasta; a baked veggie dish; committee salad; and lots of cookies and chocolates and fantastic pumpkin pie. Many of the yummy treats were brought by the guests.
