That's what Eli answered when we asked him how old he was. Of course, after the big laugh from all of us, he's now decided to be a wise guy, and the answer has become "one much." We're trying to get him to get the concept of two.
We had a fun birthday party yesterday. Perogies and Mennonite sausage for dinner. The cake was baked by Auntie Shirley and Grandma and decorated by Joyel. There were lots of presents - a magic drawing board from Auntie Allene, Uncle Jeremy, Ben, Simon, and Isaac; some cars and outfit from Auntie Shirley; cars and a road/town carpet from mom and dad, a garage from Grandma and Grandpa; a house for the town from Oma and Opa; more cars from Mister Danie and Miss Hilary; a frog, a book, and a hoodie from Auntie Kelly and Uncle Bruce; a Raffi CD from Uncle Paul and Auntie Juliet; a "Cars" lamp from Auntie J, Uncle Allan, and Maddie; and some cool Dr. Seuss books from Auntie Lori.
Elijah had such a fun evening and is really enjoying all of his gifts. Thank you to everyone for making a special day for the little fellow.
